Composting is a tedious and complicated process. The right temperature and moisture are needed, aside from the more important aeration requirements. True, all organic materials have bacteria in it. But to speed up the process, manure need to be added. Pig manure has all the bacteria you needed. And when your finished compost is topped with a worm composting stage, you’ll get the benefits of bacterial compost, and beneficial enzymes from worm manure, and possibly molds for stalky plants and trees.
